Tespack is a smart energy solution designed for field operations, enabling real-time solar energy management in the most remote and critical environments. Whether deployed by NGOs, defense teams, or researchers in the field, Tespack’s system provides users with the ability to monitor, store, and distribute power—without dependence on traditional infrastructure.
The product ecosystem includes a smart dashboard, mobile app, data analytics engine, and system control modules—all optimized for offline usage and extreme conditions. My role as the Product Designer was to shape this experience from the ground up: from wireframes to UI systems, and from user flows to final handoff.
We began by identifying the key challenges faced by Tespack’s target users: unreliable power access, lack of technical interfaces in the field, and limited connectivity. I led stakeholder interviews and user persona development to dive deeper into how our users operated.
Humanitarian teams, for instance, needed solar power tracking in disaster zones; defense forces required autonomous diagnostics of devices in high-risk areas. Based on these insights, we clarified the core problem: to design a highly functional, reliable, and user-friendly interface for monitoring and managing portable energy systems.
Once the core problems were outlined, I created a complete sitemap and information flow, breaking the product into modules: dashboards, mobile views, diagnostics, energy forecasting, system alerts, and team access.
I prioritized features not by complexity, but by frequency of use and urgency in field settings. Features like offline sync, battery health display, and solar prediction were considered non-negotiable. I worked closely with product management to align user needs with technical feasibility in this phase.
