MedEasy Interface Overview
The MedEasy app interface was designed to be clean, intuitive, and trustworthy from the first interaction. The welcome screen presents a minimal, modern look with a soft color palette, introducing the brand clearly and guiding users forward with a single tap. It sets a calm tone while keeping the experience focused and distraction-free.
The home screen brings together key features like medicine search, prescription upload, and doctor consultation in one accessible layout. Essential actions are placed prominently, while real doctor images add a human touch that builds trust. Soft blue tones, clear icons, and readable typography make the interface easy to use, especially for older or less tech-savvy users. Overall, the design ensures healthcare access feels simple, supportive, and user-friendly.
My Design Role & Process
1. Discovery & Research
- User interviews & empathy mapping with chronic patients to understand pain points like prescription management, drug authenticity concerns, and delivery trust.
- Competitive benchmarking against apps like PharmEasy and Medlife, analyzing features such as prescription upload, search flow, and consultation channels.
- Heuristic analysis audit, especially for Bangladeshi health apps, identifying a high percentage of aesthetic/usability issues.
2. Ideation & User Flows
- Defined user journeys for key flows: prescription upload → pharmacist validation → order confirmation → delivery tracking → repeat prescription reminder.
- Created low-fidelity wireframes and storyboards to map scenarios such as uploading photos for prescription verification and scheduling video consultations.
From Prescription to Doorstep
3. Prototyping
- Designed high-fidelity UI prototypes in Figma, emphasizing clarity, minimalist branding, and consistent visual identity across screens—drawing on inspiration from other Bangladeshi health platforms.
- Ensured flow continuity for both mobile and web layouts (Cart, Doctor Booking, Medicine Listing, Profile).
4. Usability Testing & Refinement
- Conducted usability testing with 8–10 users via interactive prototypes, focusing on search functionality, prescription upload clarity, and checkout friction.
- Iterated based on feedback: improved image upload guidance, simplified cart flow, added confirmation sub-step after pharmacist validation, and clear delivery timelines.
- Enhanced accessibility: large tap targets, clear contrast ratios, readable fonts for older users.
Final Design & Handoff
- Delivered polished, pixel-perfect UI screens of key app views (home, product listing, prescription upload, doctor consult booking, order summary, reminders).
- Documented a component-based design system with consistent typography, color palette (calm blues & whites), iconography, and UI components (cards, buttons, toggles).
- Created interactive prototypes and specs for developers using Figma and Zeplin to ensure pixel-accurate implementation.
